Shot from above the Grand Prismatic area in Yellowstone. The ground looked alive — thin layers of color and steam shaping the surface like veins. It’s strange how something that comes from heat and pressure can look so calm from a distance. I like to take photos like this, because they provide a unique image of a place that's visited by millions.
